Medica Matters February 2021
A 54-year-old critical heart patient gets a new lease of life at Medica Superspeciality Hospital after undergoing Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) surgery under Senior Cardiac Surgeon, Dr. Kunal Sarkar.
“Superb hospitality and warmth of nurses and other medical staff. The whole process was extremely systematic and organised. Overall it was a great experience. Thank you.”
“Team Neurosciences at Medica led by Dr. L.N. Tripathy is a wonderful team of doctors, paramedics and nurses. Their skill is unparalleled & their compassion and all round care is perfect & has no room for improvement. The hospital is clean, systematic and highly affordable. Dr. Tripathy, Dr. Harsh Jain and Dr. Sunandan Basu are not just friends and colleagues, as doctors and neurosurgeons, they are simply world class. Congratulations Team Medica for this wonderful success in diagnosis & treatment.”
“I want to thank Medica Superspecialty Hospital for its human face and its warmth that we have seen and felt for the last three years that my father, Mr Sailen Banerjee, underwent dialysis there. He expired last week. Till the last, the doctors in the ICU, the transport didis, the Corporate billing section, the security persons at the gates, the staff at the mortuary extended such a friendly hand that we are indeed grateful. And I must also mention the Pharmacy staff, who work under immense pressure and yet are so cordial and accurate. The Dialysis unit and its members were equally supportive. Medica had almost become home, I also had my child delivered there in 2012. We have always got prompt and warm treatment here. Thank you Medica.“
“My Patient was admitted under Dr. Pradeepta Kumar Sethy. I am immensely happy to get treatment at Medica & special thanks to the relationship manager & Dr. P.K Sethy for constant support to me for getting well & living again a happy life. I feel blessed and wish all the best to Medica Hospitals Kolkata. “
After crucial 9 days, today my father has been discharged from hospital. Being a son of a patient, I would like to say, if every hospital strives to be as caring and generous as you, the world would be filled with smiles and laughter instead of pain and sorrow. Thank you so much Medica. Special thanks to Dr Tanmoy Banerjee, Dr Ahsan Ahmad,Jaydip Bhaduri, my all teammates and all medical and non medical staff of Medica Superspecialty Hospital.
My brother was suffering from brain cavernoma and was referred to Medica hospital from Bhutan. We reached here and admitted on 3rd May 2017. We got very good co-operation from each and every staff concerned and were very happy.
Special thanks to all my night shift nurses. Without you all I might not be able to stand up again. Not only me, but everyone in my room appreciated the nurses. Thank You once again. God Bless you all.
The support that Medica Staff Shivnam Barman gave to senior citizen patients is absolutely out of the world. Many hapless senior citizens whose sons and daughters are not beside them and who need somebody to help them avail medical care you can put 100 percent trust on Shivnam. May God shower his best blessings on this young man!
This is to thank and appreciate the kind gesture of Dr Pahari and his team, including Ms Panchali, Mr Sreemantha, Ms Moumita, Ms Madhumita, the technicians and nurses for providing relentless service during this pandemic. I was touched by the COVID kit gifted to the dialysis patients to ensure our safety. Keep up the good work. A special thanks to Dr Pahari for your guidance over the years and way to go, Team Dialysis!
I wish to record my deep appreciation of the exemplary role played by Medica's Manager Operations , Ms. Baby Ojha in making my Covid vaccination experience completely hassle-free and smooth. I have contacted her on the phone on numerous times over the last one month to enquire about various issues relating to the vaccination program that I was anxious about: the process being followed, obtaining appointments, implications of the revised guidelines for the second dose etc.
At no time did Ms. Ojha sound impatient or busy - in fact she invariably returned my call if her line was busy. She was proactive and helpful and always sounded calm and reassuring. These are rare attributes in the service industry and are badly needed especially in one as critical as healthcare and her approach should be held up as an example for other staff to emulate. I wish her all the best in her career.
