Dr. Kumar Gauraw is a renowned Urologist and Robotic Uro-oncologist with over 10 years of experience to his credit. Dr. Kumar has been working as a Consultant Urologist at various renowned Hospitals of Kolkata since February 2016.
Presently Dr. Kumar is attached with Medica Hospital, Kolkata.

Being a meritorious scholar, Dr Kumar has completed his MS in General Surgery from prestigious Aligarh Muslim University. Thereafter he finished his DNB in Urology, from Fortis Hospital, Kolkata recognised as center of excellence by National Board Of Examinations, New Delhi.

With an experience of enriching lives of more than 500 people through kidney transplantation, Dr. Kumar is also an expert in the field of Laser Kidney Stone Surgery, Laser Prostate Surgery, Robotic Kidney Cancer Surgery, Robotic Prostate Cancer Surgery and Robotic Urinary Bladder Cancer Surgery.

Dr Kumar is a highly skilled and experienced surgeon in Kolkata. Dr. Kumar has done several hundreds of successful Endourological procedures like PCNL, Laser URS, RIRS, Flexible Ureteroscopy, Endopyelotomy, TURP, TURBT, HOLEP(Laser Prostate Surgery),Optical urethrotomy etc. and almost all Robotic/ Laparoscopic urological procedures including Radical Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy, Partial Nephrectomy, Pyeloplasty and VVF repair.
Dr. Kumar has developed a special interest in Laser prostate surgery and performing HOLEP (Holmium laser Enucleation of Prostate) since 2016 which counts approximately to 100 cases & these include prostate size varying from 40 to 180 grams, recurrent enlargement of prostate after previous TURP. Dr. Kumar is a highly skilled Robotic Uro-Oncologist to treat cancers of Kidney, Prostate and Urinary Bladder.
