Dr. Abhay is the current head of the Medica Superspecialty Hospital’s department of urology, uro-oncology, and robotic surgery in Kolkata. He also holds a DNB in Genito-Urinary Surgery from the Department of Urology, as well as a DNB in Kidney Transplant from Mumbai’s famed Jashlok Hospital & Research Centre. Dr. Abhay is a lifelong member of the Indian Association of Surgeons and the Indian Urological Society. Dr. Abhay Kumar has done several major and small surgical procedures on his own, as well as assisting seniors and providing instruction to juniors. He received his fellowship in Uro-oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
