Dr. Shumayou Dutta is a Consultant Spine Surgeon at Medica Superspecialty Hospital in Kolkata. He is an expert in ‘Key-hole’ surgery and is a skilled minimally invasive spine surgeon. His technique is unique to each patient. He received his training at some of the world’s best spine institutions, including the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, and is the first to bring “Microscopic” spine surgery to Kolkata. In 2016, he got the NSSA (Neuro-Spine Society Association) and APCC (Asia Pacific Cervical Spine Society) awards for best research work. He has more than ten papers in prestigious international journals.
