Arrythmia

An arrhythmia is a heart condition that affects the rate or rhythm with which the heart beats. When the electrical impulses that direct and regulate heartbeats fail to function properly, an arrhythmia occurs. The heart beats as a result of this, too quickly (tachycardia) or too slowly (bradycardia). Or too haphazardly (fibrillation) or prematurely (premature contraction).
